The CPSE Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) role provides services in homes, daycares, preschools, and community settings across New York City, including Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island. Compensation is $70–$90 per hour. The posting offers flexible scheduling and full-time or part-time cases. Little Masters Development Center provides individualized services to preschool-aged children. The SEIT delivers individualized instruction and behavioral strategies aligned with each child’s IEP, monitors progress, and documents sessions. Collaboration with families and the child’s educational team helps address developmental and educational goals across settings.

What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one SEIT services according to each child’s IEP
• implement individualized educational and behavioral strategies
• address cognitive, communication, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental goals
• maintain session notes and required documentation
• monitor and document progress
• collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists, and other team members
• and participate in meetings and provide progress updates when required.
