Day Program Assistant Director

The Day Program Assistant Director role is onsite in Woburn, MA, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $24 per hour. Communitas provides individualized, family-centered services and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The assistant director leads community-based work, recreation, leisure, and life-skills activities and supports individuals’ choices and participation. The role combines case management, group coverage, and administrative work, while helping supervise and develop staff and contribute to individual and department goals.

What you'll do

• Assist with hiring, supervising, evaluating, and training staff
• facilitate staff training and support development of training for individuals receiving services
• participate in team, DHSP, and ISP planning meetings
• advocate for individual needs
• provide personal care and assistance consistent with individual needs
• provide group coverage as needed.
