The Director of Nursing (DNS) role is onsite in Milton-Freewater, OR, with a salary of $110,000–$120,000 per year. Cascade Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care seeks to maintain high standards of resident care and nursing services. The director manages day-to-day nursing department operations, develops care standards and systems, leads staffing and performance processes, and supports regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

What you'll do

• Develop nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards, policies, and processes
• establish care-planning systems
• recruit, interview, hire, coach, discipline, and evaluate staff
• maintain compliance with certification, survey, Medicare, and long-term-care requirements
• validate nursing quality assurance and coordinate interdisciplinary quality assurance
• direct executive director functions in their absence.

Why this role

Current Oregon registered nursing license required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, specialty certification, and two years of long-term-care nursing supervision experience are preferred.
