Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Lynn, MA, at Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. The assistant completes facility rounds, addresses maintenance and safety needs, and performs minor repairs. The role supports resident safety and comfort by keeping the facility functional and welcoming while following safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Conduct daily rounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs
• review maintenance request logs and complete work orders
• collaborate with staff on resident-space improvements
• assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects
• troubleshoot issues and follow safety and regulatory requirements.
