Compensation is $35–$39 per year. The Fleet Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Saint Paul, MN. 25 - $39.25 per hour, and this role supports the maintenance team at US Foods, Inc. This role exists to ensure the safety and reliability of the company fleet by performing preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on diesel equipment. The mechanic contributes to operational efficiency by documenting repairs and maintaining a safe work environment.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs.
• Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
