The Receiving Warehouse Person – 1st Shift role is onsite in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; overtime needs vary during the busy season. Pay starts at $21.50 per hour. The role supports Quanex, a manufacturing company serving fenestration, cabinetry, solar, refrigeration, and outdoor product markets. The position handles incoming materials and outgoing shipments, using warehouse equipment and shipping documents to move and account for goods safely and accurately. Its work helps maintain orderly material flow, protect products in transit, and support production and customer shipments.

What you'll do

• Check, weigh, count, unload, and sign for incoming materials
• report shortages and photograph damaged items
• use a lift truck to move, pick, stack, shelve, and deliver materials
• process outgoing UPS shipments
• load and operate banding equipment
• complete truck maintenance reports and trailer inspections
• charge electric trucks at shift end
• report equipment issues and safety concerns
• maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
