What you'll do

• Purchase materials, components, tooling, supplies, and services
• review purchase requisitions
• interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• obtain and evaluate vendor quotations
• negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality requirements, and delivery schedules
• create and manage ERP purchase orders
• expedite at-risk materials
• maintain purchasing records and ERP data
• evaluate supplier performance
• coordinate returns
• collaborate with internal departments.
