The Bilingual Medical Assistant — OB/GYN, Alief role is onsite in Houston, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The assistant supports providers and patients across examinations, minor procedures, laboratory services, and patient education. The role helps keep clinical processes organized and safe while supporting culturally sensitive, language-appropriate care and continuity within a team-based medical home.

What you'll do

• Interview patients and record medical histories and vital signs
• collect and process specimens
• assist physicians during examinations and treatment
• give injections and remove sutures as directed
• prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• provide phone consultation
• perform phlebotomy and diagnostic tests as needed
• administer medications as ordered
• document care
• maintain supplies and support OSHA and safety programs
• work with the primary care medical home team.
