Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in San Diego, CA; compensation is $23–$25 per hour. The position supports the operation of the Royal Inn of La Jolla hotel. The technician inspects the building and maintains equipment and systems to keep hotel operations running efficiently. Routine and preventive repairs help address damage, maintain equipment performance, and reduce safety risks.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring
• inspect windows, doors, walls, and other building areas for structural damage and make repairs
• record completed repairs and service dates
• develop and carry out preventive maintenance measures
• handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
• respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends as required.
