Support Engineer I

The Support Engineer I position is hybrid in Springfield, VA, with compensation of $75,000–$82,000 per year. ISI’s IT team provides technical support and helps maintain compliance with security standards including CMMC and NIST 800-171. The engineer handles first-line user support, system and account administration, endpoint setup, and basic network troubleshooting. The role also monitors system health and follows standardized processes to support reliable service and compliance.

What you'll do

• Provide first-line support for email, passwords, and mailboxes
• perform administrative tasks in Azure, Google Workspace, and ticketing systems
• troubleshoot Windows, Mac, and Linux
• configure computers and peripherals
• provision user accounts
• diagnose and escalate Wi-Fi and LAN issues
• conduct system health checks
• collaborate on issue resolution
• follow and improve processes and checklists. Work one of the listed shifts: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. ET or 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. ET.
