Youth Development Specialist, Character and Leadership

The Youth Development Specialist, Character and Leadership role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ; compensation is $15.15 per hour. The role supports Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley's Club Operations and youth development programming. The specialist provides safe supervision and delivers structured activities that help Club members develop positive character, pursue leadership opportunities, and practice inclusive and respectful attitudes. The role also supports program outcomes through activity planning, facilitation, and measurement.

What you'll do

• Develop, organize, and facilitate curriculum-based programs
• run activities in the assigned area
• facilitate character and leadership programming
• coordinate leadership projects, community service initiatives, and diversity-focused events
• administer outcome measurement tools
• maintain safe, clean, and organized program areas
• guide member behavior using positive techniques
• maintain equipment and property
• support volunteers
• assist with food programming as needed. Transporting members may be included if the employee is 21 or older.
