The Montessori Associate Teacher, Primary Program role is onsite in Bellevue, WA. Starting pay is $23.50–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Bellevue Montessori School’s mission is to support children’s academic, social, emotional, and cultural development and lifelong learning through Montessori education. Working under the Lead Teacher and Program Director, the associate supports a nurturing classroom, encourages children’s independence, assists with lessons and routines, and observes and documents student development.

What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain classroom materials
• support calm classroom routines and student transitions
• interact respectfully with children and encourage independence
• monitor safety and classroom behavior
• assist during lessons, lunch, recess, and transitions
• communicate and plan with the Lead Teacher
• track attendance and lessons
• document student progress
• help plan projects and events.

Why this role
