Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney role is onsite in Jackson, MS. Compensation is $140,000–$150,000 per year. Kinetic Staffing is recruiting for a nationally recognized law firm with an established litigation practice. The attorney supports litigation matters through all phases, conducting research, drafting filings and discovery, assisting with hearings and trial preparation, and working with clients and colleagues to develop practical legal solutions and responsive counsel.

What you'll do

• Conduct legal research
• prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
• manage written discovery
• contribute to litigation strategy
• assist with depositions, witness preparation, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• prepare court filings and client correspondence
• collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and clients
• manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
