Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) — Employee Health Clinic

Job overview

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, at an employee health clinic; compensation is $28–$34 per hour. The clinic serves employees of the client company and has no pediatric patients. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The CMA supports providers and administrative staff with clinical care and clinic operations. Patient preparation, testing, documentation, supply management, and follow-up coordination help the clinic deliver an efficient patient experience.

What you'll do

• Room patients and prepare them for visits
• obtain and document vital signs
• assist with procedures and patient care
• perform point-of-care testing and operate EKG equipment
• assist with vaccination administration and documentation within scope
• monitor supplies and expiration dates
• manage clinical inboxes
• prepare prescription requests for provider review
• assist with prior authorizations and documentation
• schedule follow-ups and make calls
• maintain electronic health records.
