What you'll do

• Work with construction teams to establish safe traffic movement around sites
• direct traffic according to Department of Transportation regulations
• flag motorists about obstacles or repair work
• set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones and warning devices
• drive and maintain a company vehicle
• inspect tools and equipment
• track issued equipment
• complete paperwork
• ensure crew members have PPE and follow DOT regulations
• communicate with contractors.
