Job overview

Compensation is $18–$38 per hour. The Veterinary Technician — Medical Oncology role is onsite in Dunwoody, GA, with a daytime full-time schedule; Selected team members begin paid onboarding and training at the Marietta hospital in August 2026 before moving to the new Dunwoody hospital, scheduled to open in October 2026. The role joins Dogwood’s founding Medical Oncology team. The technician provides oncology nursing and treatment support while helping build a new specialty service. The work includes monitoring patient comfort and treatment response, supporting chemotherapy and diagnostics, educating clients, and collaborating with specialty teams.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to oncology patients
• monitor comfort, treatment response, and quality of life
• support chemotherapy and treatment plans
• administer prescribed medications and therapies
• maintain medical and treatment records
• collect blood and process samples
• assist with diagnostics and procedures
• educate clients
• follow hazardous-drug safety practices
