Restoration Technician

The Restoration Technician role is onsite in Myrtle Beach, SC, with local travel as needed. The stated pay is $20–$23 per hour. Restoration 1 of Horry County is a locally owned, IICRC-certified restoration company serving the Myrtle Beach area and helping customers after property damage. The technician responds to property-damage emergencies and performs mitigation and restoration work, including water extraction, structural drying, and equipment monitoring. The role helps protect customers’ homes and belongings through safe, organized work, accurate documentation, and professional communication.

What you'll do

• Respond to water, mold, fire, and other property-damage emergencies
• perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, and equipment setup, monitoring, and removal
• assist with mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and biohazard projects as needed
• take moisture readings
• maintain safe job sites
• document work with photos, notes, readings, and software
• maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment
• participate in the on-call rotation.
