What you'll do

• Prepare for instructional sessions and gather materials
• greet and engage students
• teach according to Sylvan program designs
• manage students, tasks, and time during sessions
• evaluate and record student progress
• use praise and encouragement
• track student tokens
• manage session wrap-up, learning logs, and transitions
• support student safety and well-being
• communicate student needs to center staff
• attend staff meetings and ongoing training
• complete certification training for each program taught.
