The role supports nursing services at BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital – WJMC Campus, located on the fourth floor of West Jefferson Medical Center. The position directs the Nursing Department and works with the Chief Executive Officer to maintain quality standards of care under applicable regulations and facility guidelines. It also assumes responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer and applies the registered nurse scope of practice to the nursing process.

What you'll do

• Direct the Nursing Department

• assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer
• conduct the nursing process within the State Nurse Practice Act and registered nurse licensure scope.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in nursing and an active registered nurse license in the state of practice or an active compact license. A master’s degree in nursing is preferred; at least two years of nursing supervisory experience is required.
