Job overview
The Systems Engineer is an onsite role based in Laurel, MD. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the MANTECH team in managing enterprise infrastructure services. This role exists to support the implementation and compliance of advanced Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) capabilities. The engineer works with customers and product teams to maintain data center and compute services.
What you'll do
- Daily troubleshooting of Linux, Windows, Red Hat 6, 7, 8, and 9 Operating Systems.
- Providing Ubuntu support.
- Oversee cross-platform virtual machine lifecycles across Linux hypervisor environments.
- Maintain and manage various versions of OpenStack across multi-region deployments.
- Troubleshoot issues across Agency GOTS OpenStack platforms.
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Puppet.
- Manage YUM repos.
- Utilize Naemon and Grafana diagnostic tooling.
