Microbiology Technician

Job overview

The Microbiology Technician role is onsite in Greeley, CO, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour. Certified Group's laboratory network provides testing and related services for food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics, and other regulated industries. The technician prepares samples and applies approved microbiological methods for analytical testing. Accurate quality controls, records, and laboratory upkeep help the team produce reliable testing results and meet customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries
• apply aseptic techniques
• maintain media and reagents
• track expendable supplies
• clean and sanitize the laboratory
• perform quality-control monitoring
• follow assigned procedures and customer requirements
• maintain equipment, supplies, quality programs, and accurate records
• complete required training.
