The Lead Audio/Visual Technician role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with pay of $25–$30 per hour. Innovative Sight & Sound designs and installs smart-home automation, home theaters, whole-home audio, security, networks, lighting, and motorized shades for large custom properties. The lead technician carries out and guides residential and commercial audio/visual installations from pre-wire through final installation and programming. The work supports integrated home technology projects and requires troubleshooting, safe equipment use, and attention to installation quality.

What you'll do

• Lead audio/visual installation work from pre-wires through trim, final installation, and programming
• install and configure televisions, equipment racks, home theaters, multi-room audio, networking, automation and control systems, lighting, and motorized shades
• troubleshoot systems and signal flow
• work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
• maintain customer-service-oriented communication.
