The Grinder – 2nd Shift role is onsite in Woodstock, IL. Pay is $20–$33 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour for second-shift operators. Arnold Magnetic Technologies manufactures magnets, magnetic assemblies, and precision metal foils used in motors, generators, sensors, and batteries. The grinder sets up and operates finish-grinding machines, selecting tools and operating settings to meet product specifications. The role supports production quality by checking dimensions, adjusting equipment, identifying defects, and maintaining production records and machinery.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate finish-grinding machines
• select speeds, feeds, and grinding wheels
• dress wheels
• check dimensions and tolerances
• adjust equipment to maintain standards
• identify and report faulty operation or defective materials
• assist with machine disassembly, repairs, and cleaning
• maintain job-order and production records.
