The Light-Duty Automotive Technician / Service Specialist role is an onsite, full-time position in Buffalo, NY, with pay of $25–$40 per hour. BFS Fleet Service is a locally owned fleet repair business serving Western New York. The technician diagnoses and repairs cars, vans, pickups, and light-duty commercial vehicles, performs preventive maintenance and system repairs, and records inspection findings. The work supports safe, dependable vehicle operation through accurate repairs and coordination with the service team.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair cars, vans, pickups, and light-duty commercial vehicles
• perform preventive maintenance and brake, steering, suspension, engine, cooling-system, and electrical repairs
• use diagnostic equipment and service information
• complete digital vehicle inspections with findings, notes, and photos
• document repairs and communicate additional service needs to the service advisor
• work with the shop foreman and service team
• maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
