What you'll do

• Attend basic law enforcement classes at a designated POST-approved police academy
• complete weekly academy requirements and pass physical and academic tests
• complete required training in emergency vehicle operations, firearms, first aid, and other departmental courses
• participate in mandatory physical fitness training
• follow academy policies and procedures.
