The Analytical Chemist (GC/HPLC) — Quality Control role is 100% onsite in the Greater Milwaukee Area, WI, on a second or mid-shift schedule; pay is $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differential and annual bonus eligibility. The role is part of the QC team and works with production and other departments at a contract manufacturer of personal care and consumer products. The chemist tests and releases materials and finished goods, maintains analytical instruments, and develops or validates methods under FDA/GMP requirements. The work supports compliant product release and helps production keep products moving on time.

What you'll do

• Test and release materials requiring GC/HPLC analysis with proper identification and documentation
• maintain and calibrate GC/HPLC and other lab equipment and perform minor repairs
• develop, modify, and validate analytical methods and protocols to meet FDA/GMP requirements
• maintain accurate testing records
• support routine testing of raw materials, bulk, and filled goods
• monitor GMP compliance and lab and floor safety
• suggest lab process improvements and support other QA/QC areas as needed.
