What you'll do

• Assist providers during clinic visits, exams, and procedures
• prepare exam rooms
• measure and record vital signs and health history
• document medications, allergies, and related information in the electronic medical record
• educate patients
• administer injections and medications as ordered
• manage immunizations and prior authorizations
• provide wound care
• communicate lab results
• coordinate referrals
• and support clinical staff as a floater. Advanced responsibilities include precepting new hires and attesting to staff competencies.
