The Cybersecurity Analyst, Journeyman role is hybrid, with at least two days per week onsite in St. Inigoes, MD. The estimated salary range is $85,000–$100,000 per year. KAIROS provides cybersecurity and related services focused on supporting customers’ program performance and mission. Serving as an Information System Security Engineer, the analyst supports Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization packages for Airborne Systems Integration and Combat Identification Systems. The role protects tactical systems and information by assessing vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and maintaining compliance documentation and records.

What you'll do

• Assess system vulnerabilities and propose or implement risk mitigation
• ensure security controls protect digital files and infrastructure
• manage RMF activities and support accreditation package development
• perform ACAS scans and STIGs as required
• develop and maintain RMF artifacts and eMASS records
• conduct cybersecurity testing and prepare vulnerability and risk reports
• draft and monitor POA&Ms
• coordinate with ISSMs, engineers, and system administrators
• prepare status updates and recommendations
• serve as the system’s primary cybersecurity action officer.
