Director of Nursing Services

The position leads nursing services at Briar Place Nursing and Rehabilitation to support meaningful nursing care and residents’ well-being. The director plans and manages nursing department operations, staffing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Through clinical oversight, staff development, resident and family communication, and coordination with rehabilitation and other care teams, the role works to ensure residents receive appropriate care and services.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, staff, direct, coordinate, and manage nursing services, supplies, and equipment
• recruit and supervise nursing personnel
• oversee orientation, scheduling, evaluations, and staff education
• monitor clinical care, documentation, and care plans
• coordinate with therapy departments
• lead Quality Assurance Committee activities and reporting
• prepare for inspections and implement plans of correction
• serve as weekend supervisor in the department-head monthly rotation.
