The Executive Director role is hybrid in Columbus, OH, with a salary range of $80,000–$85,000 per year. Make-A-Day works to empower Central Ohio neighbors facing homelessness and economic instability. This role provides strategic and operational leadership, carrying out the Board’s direction while overseeing programs, outreach, fundraising, finances, staff, and community relationships. It advances the organization’s Stabilize, Restore, and Advance service model and supports its impact across the community.

What you'll do

• Execute Board strategic direction and lead organizational planning
• oversee the Stabilize, Restore, and Advance service model and community outreach
• manage volunteers
• lead fundraising, grant compliance, and donor and partner relationships
• oversee budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and 501(c)(3) compliance
• hire, supervise, and develop staff
• establish performance measures and report results
• represent the organization in community coalitions, policy discussions, and media engagement.
