Contract IT Manager (3-Month Coverage)

The Contract IT Manager position is onsite in Austin, TX, for an engagement of up to three months. Compensation is $50 per hour. EnergyX works on lithium-ion technology and energy storage solutions as part of its mission to support the transition to sustainable energy. The manager covers IT operations for roughly 150 users across the United States and Chile, handling end-user support, identity and access, licensing, and vendors. The role maintains essential technology services and provides remote support to the Chile team during the coverage period.

What you'll do

• Own the helpdesk queue
• resolve password, authenticator, laptop, peripheral, and meeting-room AV issues
• source and configure replacement hardware within budget guidance
• provision and deprovision Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts
• administer keycards and door access
• support the Chile team remotely
• maintain software license schedules
• manage vendors and renewals
• maintain office network and security cameras
• support data-protection readiness.
