What you'll do

• Provide music therapy according to written individualized plans of care
• assess and evaluate therapeutic status and participate in developing the total plan of care
• direct music therapy treatment and determine priority needs
• report patient reactions or changes in condition to the physician
• initiate therapy programs and instruct personnel or family/caregivers in relevant phases as appropriate
• prepare clinical and progress summaries
• provide family and caregiver consultation as appropriate
• provide in-service education as needed
• participate in interdisciplinary, quality improvement, and hospice team orientation activities.
