The Cook role is onsite in Clinton, CT, with compensation of $20–$22 per hour. The cook prepares and presents meals according to recipes and community standards, supports resident dining, and maintains safe food handling and clean kitchen areas. The role also assists with menu planning and daily kitchen operations when the culinary director is absent.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
• provide customer service and promote restaurant-style dining
• receive, store, and prepare food according to company standards
• maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and food-storage areas
• support food quality and presentation
• assist with menu planning
• document food and refrigeration temperatures
• keep snacks and beverages available
• clean floors and remove trash
• assist with transporting and storing food and supplies
• oversee daily kitchen operations in the Director of Culinary Services’ absence.
