Professional Caregiver – North Indianapolis and Hamilton County

Job overview

The Professional Caregiver role is onsite in clients’ homes throughout Indianapolis and surrounding suburbs, including the North Indianapolis and Hamilton County area. Pay is $15–$16 per hour, based on experience, client, and location. The caregiver supports clients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life. The caregiver provides personal care and daily living support, companionship, and household assistance while following care plans and reporting changes in client condition to supervising staff.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• provide light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• remind clients to take medications as directed
• monitor and report changes in condition to a supervising nurse or agency staff
• provide companionship and emotional support
• document care
• follow care plans, safety procedures, and state regulations.
