The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician role is an onsite position based in Rockville, VA. Compensation is $40.00 - $46.00 per hour, and this role supports the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team in maintaining critical facility and material handling equipment. This role exists to lead service technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of automated packaging and distribution systems. The technician will design solutions for complex technical problems, manage projects, and mentor junior staff to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

What you'll do

• Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment
• lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans
• install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and sensors
• create and close out work orders
• develop job plans for emergency repairs.
