What you'll do

• Evaluate patients and develop speech-language plans of care
• implement treatment plans and select activities to progress patients toward goals
• revise goals with patient or family input
• provide patient and family education
• collaborate with physicians on assessment, care, and discharge plans
• document evaluations and treatment sessions
• provide discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals as appropriate.
