The Hoomau Parent Educator role is onsite in Honolulu, HI, with a flexible work environment. Pay is $21.78 per hour. Parents and Children Together works with Hawaii’s children, individuals, and families to support safe and promising futures; this position serves the Hoomau Home Visiting Program. The educator partners with families with young children to strengthen caregiver confidence, child development knowledge, health and safety, and connections to community resources through home visits, assessments, service planning, and follow-up.

What you'll do

• Conduct home visits with families with children ages 0–3
• use curriculum materials to support positive parent-child interaction, parenting, child development knowledge, community engagement, and health-seeking behaviors
• develop Family Service Plans
• administer developmental screens and assessments
• complete timely written and electronic documentation
• connect families with community resources and support services
• conduct respectful outreach
• maintain working relationships with referral sources, Child Welfare Services, state agencies, funders, and providers.
