The cook prepares and serves meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines, maintaining food safety and kitchen standards while accommodating residents’ dietary needs and supporting the dietary team.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
• ensure meals are safe, consistent, and served on time
• follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• accommodate resident dietary needs
• assist with inventory, food storage, and restocking
• maintain a clean kitchen
• label and rotate food
• collaborate with dietary team members
• communicate resident preferences and dietary needs
• assist with special-event meal preparation as needed.
