The Emergency/Critical Care Veterinary Technician (Overnight Shifts) position is onsite in Greensboro, NC. Pay is $16–$28 per hour. Carolina Veterinary Specialists–Greensboro provides specialty and emergency veterinary services, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes. The technician supports emergency and critical-care hospital operations by providing veterinary nursing and patient care, assisting with examinations and procedures, maintaining records and supplies, and communicating patient status to pet owners as directed by veterinarians.

What you'll do

• Examine and assess patients, review care plans, perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• prepare supplies and assist with examinations and operations
• feed and monitor patients and clean rooms, cages, and equipment
• document patient conditions and treatment
• communicate with pet owners as directed
• maintain equipment, inventory, and medical supplies
• follow safety, sanitation, and controlled-drug procedures.
