Lead Teacher

What you'll do

• Ensure children’s safety and hygiene
• supervise and mentor assistants and volunteers
• create developmentally appropriate classroom experiences and curriculum
• plan and lead individual and group activities
• model and coach teaching practices
• communicate with families through discussions, progress reports, and conferences

• meet center policies and state regulations
• participate in professional development and continuous quality improvement.
