Security Officer – Full-Time Access Operations

The Security Officer – Full-Time Access Operations role is an onsite, full-time position in Gregory, TX. Pay is $17 per hour. The officer supports access control and security at a chemical/petrochemical site for Allied Universal. The role helps safeguard the site by verifying access, monitoring entry points, documenting activity, and conducting patrols. It also requires calm responses to alarms and incidents and customer service for personnel, visitors, and contractors, following established site procedures.

What you'll do

• Carry out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities
• monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report discrepancies
• operate access-control systems and issue or retrieve badges as authorized
• respond to incidents and alarms according to site protocols
• conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and access points. A TSA-issued TWIC is required
• access-control and badge experience, computer or tablet comfort, security-related licensing, and customer service experience are preferred.
