What you'll do

• Analyze fluid and material samples using wet chemistry and characterization techniques including FTIR, GPC, GC, and NMR
• support molecular characterization research
• analyze and initially identify unknown samples
• calibrate, clean, and maintain instruments
• follow laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, PPE, and quality management requirements
• maintain chemical inventory and safe handling and disposal practices.

Why this role

Requires a B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, geochemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with analytical techniques emphasis, hands-on wet chemistry and FTIR, GPC, and GC experience, and experience in an analytical laboratory. NMR and high-resolution MS experience are preferred.
