Child Care Group Supervisor

The Child Care Group Supervisor role is onsite in Lancaster, PA, and pays $15.50–$17.50 per hour. The position supports the Day Care department and Circles of Friends Academy, developing programs for children from six weeks to five years old in cooperation with families, agencies, and staff. The supervisor provides a safe, supportive childcare setting and plans developmentally appropriate activities that introduce math and literacy concepts. The role also maintains communication with families, supervises children, and is designated to ensure compliance when the Program Director is absent. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement educational programs and culturally appropriate activities
• provide nutritious snacks and lunches
• ensure equipment and facilities are clean, maintained, and safe
• create weekly and monthly activity schedules
• introduce math and literacy concepts
• establish routines and positive guidance
• keep parents informed
• maintain confidential client files
• supervise children
• serve as the designated compliance staff person when the Program Director is absent.
