What you'll do
- Conduct surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities using approved protocols
- prepare for surveys and review care, records, staff and family interviews, and facility conditions
- assess compliance with federal requirements
- communicate deficiencies to facility personnel
- evaluate plans of correction
- conduct follow-up and monitoring surveys
- assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed.
