What you'll do

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, assist with merchandise selection, and respond promptly to customer concerns. Support sales department operations, including merchandise ordering, receiving, pricing, stock monitoring, price changes, markdowns, promotional displays, and signage as applicable. Operate the cash register
• handle receipts, change funds, and cash records
• and maintain security of cash registers and the safe. Serve as key carrier and open or close the store as required. May train employees, provide input on evaluations, and direct employees or oversee the store in management’s absence. Follow loss-prevention, safety, and emergency-preparedness requirements.
