Registered Nurse (RN) – Detox and Residential Recovery, PRN

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Detox and Residential Recovery, PRN role is onsite in Gainesville, GA. Compensation is $40 to $45 per hour. The position supports Good Landing Recovery’s detox and residential facility, part of a group of substance abuse treatment facilities offering a continuum of care. The RN provides direct sub-acute medical care to inpatient clients and serves as a working shift lead. The role supports safe treatment operations through assessments, medication assistance, monitoring, documentation, and guidance for staff during the shift.

What you'll do

• Oversee the assigned nursing unit during the shift and support staff
• take vital signs and complete physical assessments
• determine whether clients are appropriate for the level of care
• administer urine screens and breathalyzer tests
• conduct client well-checks
• coordinate intake physical appointments
• assist the Medical Director with medication administration as licensed
• document according to applicable guidelines
• identify signs of relapse or drug use.
