The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager role is onsite in Lyons, IL, with compensation of $100,000–$125,000 per year. The position supports Atlas Tool Works, a precision defense and aerospace manufacturer. The manager develops and maintains the quality management system while leading the inspection team and coordinating quality activities across production, vendors, customers, and internal departments. The work helps ensure products and processes meet applicable requirements and supports customer satisfaction and continuous quality oversight.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system
• manage document control and quality training
• oversee receiving, in-process, final, and first-article inspection
• manage internal system, process, product, and supplier audits
• coordinate source inspections, corrective actions, and customer surveys
• lead the quality team
• communicate part-quality feedback to production
• evaluate vendors
• report metrics to top management
• maintain the internal auditing system.
