Geotechnical Field Engineer

Job overview

The Geotechnical Field Engineer role is based in Tulsa, OK, with extensive travel to project and drilling sites on a 21/7 rotation: 21 days on and seven days off at home. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour, based on experience and certifications. The role produces field records that AIMRIGHT’s engineering teams use to make project recommendations.

What you'll do

• Accompany drill crews to log soil borings and subsurface explorations
• record sampling intervals and test data
• classify soils using ASTM/USCS procedures
• monitor field and construction activities
• collect, label, and transport samples
• maintain and operate field equipment
• prepare daily field reports
• coordinate with drillers and project teams
• and assist with laboratory testing and sample processing when needed.
