The Radiology Technologist — PRN, Day Shift role is onsite in Pearland, TX. Compensation is not specified. The role performs CT and X-ray imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort, and also carries out laboratory procedures and testing. Through accurate imaging, testing, and coordination with clinical colleagues, the technologist supports patient care and quality outcomes.

What you'll do

• Operate CT, X-ray, and related equipment to produce images
• use radiation safety measures and protection devices
• obtain patient histories and notify the radiologist as needed
• screen patients for CT contrast safety
• explain procedures and monitor patient comfort and reactions
• start IVs and administer contrast as directed and per protocol
• perform laboratory care and waived and moderate-complexity testing
• conduct laboratory procedures in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and coagulation
• maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
• use appropriate patient identifiers when collecting or processing specimens.

Why this role
