Maintenance Service Technician – Monarch Mills Apartments

The Maintenance Service Technician role is onsite in Columbia, MD, at Monarch Mills Apartments. Pay is $25–$27 per hour. The technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs to support the apartment community and its residents. The role helps maintain buildings, fixtures, equipment, and shared areas while documenting issues and delivering customer service.

What you'll do

• Perform daily maintenance and physical repairs
• handle basic carpentry, flooring, window and glass repairs, plumbing, and electrical work
• respond to urgent issues such as sewer backups and flooding
• document building deficiencies and recommendations
• report housekeeping or unit damage
• complete preventive maintenance and logs
• coordinate with contractors on significant repairs
• maintain equipment and supplies
• remove snow and apply ice melt
• maintain service, inventory, manual, and warranty records
• follow safety precautions and provide customer service.
